Social Media Manager (remote)

The Social Media Manager will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies to enhance our brand presence, engage our audience, and drive traffic to our platforms. This role involves content creation, community engagement, campaign management, and analytics. The ideal candidate will work closely with the marketing team to ensure our social media efforts align with overall business goals.

Compensation Range:

$60,000 – $70,000; At Golden Gates, actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual’s skills, experience, and qualifications.

Create comprehensive social media strategies that align with Golden Gates' marketing objectives and brand identity. Define goals and metrics to measure the success of social media campaigns. Regularly update strategies based on performance data and industry trends.

 

Produce engaging and high-quality content for various social media platforms, including text posts, images, videos, and infographics. Curate relevant content from other sources to share with our audience. Maintain a consistent posting schedule and ensure content aligns with brand guidelines.

 

Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions on all social media platforms in a timely and professional manner. Foster a positive community by engaging with followers and encouraging user-generated content. Identify and engage with influencers and brand advocates to expand our reach.

 

Use social media analytics tools to track key metrics such as engagement, reach, and conversions. Analyze performance data to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement. Prepare detailed reports on social media activities and present findings to the marketing team.

 

Plan, execute, and optimize social media campaigns to achieve specific marketing goals, such as increasing brand awareness or driving website traffic. Manage social media advertising campaigns, including budget allocation, targeting, and performance tracking. Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure campaigns are integrated with broader marketing initiatives.

 

Stay current with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices. Monitor competitors and industry leaders to identify new opportunities for engagement and growth. Experiment with new content formats and platform features to keep our social media presence fresh and innovative.

 

Work closely with the marketing team, designers, and other stakeholders to create cohesive and effective social media content and campaigns. Coordinate with other departments to ensure social media efforts support overall business objectives. Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas to enhance our social media presence.

 

Develop and implement strategies for managing social media crises, such as negative feedback or public relations issues. Monitor social media channels for potential issues and respond quickly to mitigate damage. Maintain a calm and professional demeanor when handling sensitive situations and provide clear communication to the team.
